Elise Blackwood

Short and slender, Elise wears simple clothing but attempts to emulate the current Bastigian styles. She has long brown hair, which she frequently keeps braided (perhaps in an effort to hide a few streaks of gray). She tends to look serious.

Born a Versille, Elise and her twin brother Emeric were raised by their older half-brother Roland. As a child, she regularly found herself tending to her father after his frequent bouts of drinking.

In her late teens, she wed a young man from an immigrant family, Royce Blackwood. Together they have three sons and two daughters, and they own a small general store.

While she agrees that slavery should be abolished, she is frustrated with Roland’s extreme views and actions, and resents him for having Emeric participate in dangerous missions.
